Life is not always easy, but God never promised it would be. But, we are never alone and He will give us the strength to endure whatever may come our way - the road can be/has been hard at various times for us all.
Today, I was able to sit and reflect on just where we were 4-5 months ago - the wonder of where God was leading me while developing/designing Salt and Light Merch. I like many other people, came up with a million reasons in my mind why I couldn't or how could I. Yet, the holy spirit kept nudging me - day after day, week after week and month after month. From random podcasts to church services and conversations with others, I could not escape it. How could I make an impact?
Life is that way even when it's not about starting your own business - we pray Lord use me, but then become afraid or hesitant with the what if's. BUT GOD knows - it is never about our abilities, we just need to be a willing participant. Let go and let God.
This whole purpose has been about helping others, shining a light and sharing my love for Jesus Christ with the hopes of growing and being able to touch many more lives. It's never been about how many shirts we sell - it's about HIM and others.
Yet, I have been the one truly blessed - when I was down on my knees praying and asking for guidance - the Lord knew that many would be sent to our page and lead to leave such kind encouragement and prayers.
Salt and Light Merch has developed a small community of consistent followers who check in and we welcome new ones every week. Knowing that there is over 1000+ people who choose to follow us and thousands who have watched our reels, said the prayers posted - is a testament that this is not about us but about the Lord and his guidance.
SO SO SO thankful and as we throw in posts here and there reflecting the store, it will never be the sole focus of our page. It is a way for us to continue to grow and give back to others.
